Mitch is originally from Houma, Louisiana, and grew up in Pinetop, Arizona before attending LSU for his undergraduate and graduate studies.  While in Baton Rouge, he met his wife Kristen who is from New Orleans.  Mitch worked in the LSU athletic department for 7 years in various roles prior to moving to Boulder, CO to be an assistant athletic director at the University of Colorado.  Mitch finally moved to Raleigh in 2020 to join NC State’s athletic department.  Mitch is known for his outgoing nature, positive attitude, and love for fitness.  In his free time, he enjoys anything outdoors, hiking and snowboarding to name a couple favorites.
