Ellen grew up in Zephyrhills, a small town just outside of Tampa, Florida.  Shortly after graduating from college in 2014, she decided to make North Carolina her home with plans to begin a career in the healthcare field.  Simultaneously, she began coaching at her local gym and fell in love with the process of training athletes, which compelled her to pursue a master’s degree in Physical Education and Health.  Ellen began coaching at 12th State in 2023, bringing experience from multiple other fitness environments.  She is known for her outgoing, bubbly personality, and for always having a coffee cup in hand.

When Ellen is not in the gym, you can find her spending time with her dog Polly, exploring local restaurants, and spending as much time as possible outside.
