Emily is originally from Statesville, NC and has been training with CrossFit methodology for the past 6 years, starting as a college student at App State.  She recently moved here to Raleigh with her husband, Alex, and they were married in Jan 2022.  Emily is a high level competitor, having qualified twice for the CrossFit Games Semi-Finals (’21 and ’22).  She has experience coaching CrossFit and gymnastics at multiple gyms prior to joining 12th State.  Emily anticipates obtaining her CF-L2 in September of this year.
