About

Shelby is an outstanding young coach who enjoys focusing on technique in both Olympic lifting and gymnastics.  She is an engineering student at NC State and coaches the NC State CrossFit Club here at 12th State as well as regular CrossFit classes.

Shelby has 6+ years of CrossFit experience as an athlete and competitor.  She turned in an impressive 12th place finish at the 2018 CrossFit Atlantic regional and has also been to the CrossFit Games twice as a teen athlete.  In 2023, she placed in the top 20 overall at the NoBull CrossFit Games.

When not coaching or competing, Shelby enjoys working out with her dad, Kawi, also a 12th State member.
